The new flavor, Navel Orange, is a basic beverage flavor that is a bursting with taste.   According to company president Steve Lovinger, “You expect a good tasting product because its AquaCal, but when you open and taste it, your taste buds get a burst of orange flavor you haven’t experienced in a while!”

 The new flavor, along with all other flavors (Strawberry, Lemon Zest, Raspberry, Lemon Lime, Peach Mango, Concord Grape and Black Cherry), is available in 16.9oz blue, PET bottles.  The bottle has a color-coordinated closure to help consumers identify the product flavor.  Company executives site that orange flavored beverages have consistently been appealing to consumers in other beverage categories.  And, while consumers have been enjoying a wide variety of AquaCal flavors, a fairly common orange flavor found in many beverage lineups, has not been available to them.  By rounding out the brand’s flavor offerings with the Navel Orange flavor, company executives are positioning AquaCal to experience a boost to its already explosive growth being experienced by the brand as well as the segment that is expected to reach $600 million in the next few years.
